Display

Hide Parts

Ways to hide or isolate parts:

• Double-click a part to isolate it.
  Double-click the blank area to unhide all parts.

• Click the button in the 3D view to isolate the selected parts.
  Click the button again to unhide all parts.

• Right-click a part and choose Isolate Part to isolate it.
  Right-click a part and choose Hide Part to hide it.
  Right-click anywhere and choose Unhide All to unhide all parts.

Folding Animation

Unfolder can show you the process of how the 2D parts fold into the 3D objects.

• Click button to play unfolding animation.
• Click button to play folding animation.
• Click button to jump to unfolded state.
• Click button to jump to folded state.
• Drag the slider to control the animation.

View Settings

You can click the button on the bottom of the 3D View and 2D View to open the view settings panel. You can also access these options in the View menu.

Display

• Hidden Edges: show hidden edges as dotted lines.
• Glued Flaps: show flaps when the objects are in folded state.
• Shade: render the objects with lighting.
• Dimensions: show the dimensions of the visible objects.
• X-ray: render the objects transparent.
• Up Axis: specify the axis that points up.

Highlight

• Backface: highlight the back side of the paper.
• Seams: highlight the split edges.
• Non-manifold Edges: highlight the edges that cannot join.

Camera

• Perspective / Orthographic: the projection type of the camera.
• Focal Length: the focal length of the camera. It affects the perspective distortion.

Display

• Print Preview: hide all the unprintable elements and display lines in the actual width.
• Hidden Edges: show the hidden edges as dotted lines.
• Pages: show the pages.
• Flap Targets: show the area where a flap should be glued to.
• Fold Angles: show the fold angle on edges.

Highlight

• Overlapped Parts: highlight the parts that overlap with other parts.
• Overflowed Parts: highlight the parts that are partially outside of a page.
